E-mail instellen in Thunderbird

Let op: om Microsoft mail te kunnen gebruiken in Thunderbird dient IMAP geactiveerd te worden, neem hiervoor contact op met Go Advised (of gebruik een alternatief e-mailprogramma).

De instellingen kunnen afwijken afhankelijk van de Thunderbird versie en taal.

In basis moet een account in Thunderbird als volgt ingesteld worden:

Incoming:
– IMAP
– Server hostname: outlook.office365.com
– Port: 993
– SSL: SSL/TLS
– Authentication: Oauth2
Outgoing:
– Server hostname: smtp.office365.com
– Port: 587
– SSL: STARTTLS
– Authentication: Oauth2

Mogelijk locaties account instellingen:
– Klik op het tandwiel (links onder), klik op Account Settings, klik op Account Actions, klik op Add Mail Account….
– Klik op Extra, klik op Accountinstellingen…., klik linksonder op Accountacties en klik daarna op E-mailaccount toevoegen….

Account instellingen:
– Your full name: Naam van dit account in Thunderbird
– Email address: Het e-mailadres
– Password: Het wachtwoord van uw Office365 mailbox
– Remember password: aanvinken
Selecteer handmatige configuratie of Advanced config en voer bovenstaande IMAP instellingen in.
